“This dude is on it. This dude is absolutely on it.”
Michael Palmisano, Guitargate

Americana seems to be a catch-all phrase, a buzzword in the arts scene. There are those that sing the songs and there are those that have lived the tales. Rarely there are those who do both. Enter Andrew Wiscombe, a folk musician from rural America, raised in a blue collar family, educated in her schools, a soldier in her wars and a laborer for her farms, factories, prisons, rail yards and restaurants. He understands the hard working folks on the forgotten fringes.

A former Army Sniper turned Berklee trained award-winning songwriter, Andrew’s ability to clothe stories, words, and emotions in American roots music has received great praise from fans, critics and artists alike; garnering shout outs from industry greats such as Jewel, Doug Johnson, Rory Scovel and Bob Picardo. Wiscombe has shared the stage with the likes of Ray Wylie Hubbard, .38 Special, Mary Gauthier, Hayes Carll, Sarah Jarosz, Julian Lage, Little Big Town, Dorothy, The Lil Smokies, Micky and the Motorcars, Matt Axton, Lucas Hoge, Atz Kilcher and many others. As an artist, he’s made appearances on stages at Newport Folk Fest, Treefort, Park City Song Summit, Belize Songwriter Festival and many more. Whether singing through the eyes of a child, the hands of a hard-working family man (he is a dedicated father of three boys) or through the scope of his sniper rifle, Andrew has a story to share that will resonate with the most human parts of the listener.

On the heels of his 2020 record, “Strangest Congregations”, Wiscombe released his second album, “Andrew Wiscombe’s Cosmic Holiday” in 2024. One that is sure to make you laugh, cry and ponder your own cosmic journey….. and possibly the one of those around you.
